6 Month Checkup!

Sooooo you are the cutest thing in the world. But I've already told you that. Anyway on to your 6 month checkup. You were 19 lbs. 11 oz and 27 inches. I think that your weight and height have definitely slowed down. Doesn't help that you are so active and burning calories. For the first time ever, you gained only under one pound in a month. I was a little worried but you gained so I shouldn't really be. Though as I write this, you are definitely at least 20 lbs.

Let's see, you are growing so quickly and it is crazy how advanced you are physically. You are now pulling up to stand and trying to cruise on the furniture. You take steps when we hold both your hands. Fun stuff happening to you but mommy is tired from chasing you and making you safe. Oh and how can I forget. You are also able to climb the air mattress. We still have to get some more consonants out of you but you definitely say mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

AND you are starting to follow directives. WEEEE!! This one I am so excited about. When you go past the gate in the dining room, I call you to come back and you usually do. Not for daddy though. And you definitely imitate me when I tell you to "bang, bang" and you end up banging the floor with your palm. You also slap my hand when I tell you to give me five. So cute!
