5 Months!

Hi baby,

You will be 5 months in just a few hours and as a gift to yourself (and mommy and daddy), you have put yourself to sleep by yourself without any rocking or nursing for the first time ever!!! Of course, mommy had to implement some tough love for you to be able to do that but it was for your benefit. You were put down into your pack and play smiling and smiled yourself right to sleep with your seahorse right next to you. Huge difference from six days ago!!! Love you so much little guy.

You are also a bucking bronco and you move so much when you are on your tummy. You can get your knees under you and look like you are doing a minicrawl. It is scary how fast you move. You still can't get to where you want to go but it sure is funny seeing you try. We are still working on rolling over from back to belly.

You still are not a fan of solid food but you are eating much better these days. Yesterday you took 6 ounces for grandma Anna and you pretty much made her day.

Okay little one, I love you so much more than I ever thought was possible..good night!
